The Complete Package

Overview

The Complete Package is a suite of tests that has been put together by Trimega Laboratories as a direct result of clients requesting a gold-standard to determine an individual's alcohol dependency. The Complete Package utilises the best available blood tests together with the latest advances of hair technology (FAEE and EtG tests). The package will provide a detailed summary of an individual's alcohol history and status enabling you (the court, the solicitor or the employer) to identify whether the individual is at risk to the environment that he or she is in or the people they are around. The process: How alcohol is detected

As the hair grows, it absorbs special markers called fatty acid ethyl esters (FAEE's) and ethyl glucuronide (EtG) into its structure, which remain in the hair indefinitely. These patented markers are only produced when there is alcohol in the bloodstream (EtG markers are formed almost exclusively in the liver and then deposited into hair mainly from sweat). The more markers there are, the more alcohol has been consumed.

These markers are accurately identified in a patented analytical process that provides forensic evidence of the pattern of alcohol abuse - or absence of it - because this test is just as important in ruling out alcohol abuse as it is in proving alcohol abuse.

What makes this analysis revolutionary is that it gives a history of up to six months. No other method can do this. For example, testing using bloods alone only provides results covering a period no longer than one month. Once history of alcohol abuse is established using Trimega Laboratories' latest technique, an alcoholic’s treatment can then be monitored periodically.
