The cocaine torch will be used in Irvine pubs and clubs on those who are acting suspiciously as part of a crackdown on use of the Class A drug.

After a four year absence, the influential Mixmag Drug Survey is back. According to Mixmag it’s where “the world goes to find out real people’s attitudes to and experience of drugs… used by doctors, academics and even governments around the world to influence policies and inform their decisions.” Meanwhile more and more clubbers are coming face to face with the ‘Cocaine Torch’ that illuminates any traces of the drug on skin or clothing as bright green ultraviolet light.
