Drinkers underestimate their alcohol consumption by the equivalent of a bottle of wine a week according to this research published in the Daily Telegraph. Meanwhile a study by the ‘You Booze, You Looze’ iPhone app reckons that the average British male will consumer 27 units of alcohol on Christmas Day and women 18 units.
